Central Taiwan offers a large range of attractions for the traveler.

Especially after it rains, a layer of fog lingers over the scenery,
and it's like you're in Heaven.

Rain or shine, Sun Moon Lake is like the Shangri-la of Taiwan.
But elsewhere in Central Taiwan there is bustling Changhua County¡¦s Lugang.

Once one of the busiest ports in Taiwan,
Lugang has many historical buildings,
temples and markets with interesting snacks like these mud shrimps.
A little further north is metropolitan Taichung.

Taichung is also known as the city of culture,
aside from the museums and sculpture parks,
there is also a variety of unique little restaurants that really show off the city's food culture.

You can find all kinds of cuisine here,
from organic food to not-so-healthy-but-tasty delights at Fengjia night market.

From boating on the Sun Moon Lake to roaming the Fengjia night market,
Central Taiwan is packed full of beautiful and interesting places.
