Foreign Media on Taiwan Food

Food and travel in Taiwan is becoming more and more popular these days. Just this year alone, up until the end of September, more than 400 international journalists and TV production crews have come to Taiwan to report and and make programs. Michella Jade Weng found a crew working for Discovery at the Keelung Night Market. Having been all over the world to film, they said that Taiwanese
food ranks among French and Italian food.##

Even in the rain, night markets are packed all the time.

Shoot and eat, shoot and eat. How is it compared to food in other countries?

Amazing variety. Our show is "Fantastic Foods of the World." This is our third episode. We started in Burgundy, France, then we went to Sicily and Taiwan is our third location and I have to say, Taiwan ranks with all of those.

Actually, from January to September this year, more than 400 international reporters and TV production staff have come to Taiwan to explore, taste and share what there is to offer here. And hopefully through them, the rest of the world will get to know Taiwan, and will come have a look for themselves.
